In his research for The Last Secret, José Rodrigues dos Santos travelled to the Holy Land, in Israel. He visited the places where Jesus lived, namely Nazareth, Capharnaum, Coroazim and Magdala, and where he died – Jerusalem.
Furthermore, he visited Dublin, Plovdiv and Rome, where the novel’s action also takes place.
